Part 1 - “A Long Journey”
The scene opens to a dark, foggy room with hard wood floors and a set of bleachers just barley visible in the back of the giant room. At this point you could tell it was some kind of school gymnasium. There is a mic in a microphone stand in the middle of the empty high school gym. A piano is playing softly in the background, and Andy is no where I sight.
Andy (in a cracky, high pitched singing voice) - Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world. She took the midnight train going anywhere… Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit, he took the midnight train going anywhere…
Andy then runs into the scene and slides on his knees until in the center of the camera. He is wearing a laced shirt, tight leather pants and is holding a plastic Guitar Hero guitar in his hands. He moves his fingers franticly across the guitar as the guitar solo of the song plays. Once the solo is over, Andy gets up from his knees and grabs the microphone from the stand and continues,
Andy (in a cracky, high pitched singing voice) - A singer in a smoky room. A smell of wine and cheap perfume, for a smile they can share the night. It goes on and on and on and on!!!
The music stops and the lights turn on. Only a thin layer of fog remains along the floor of the gym. Andy looks up at the camera and smiles.
Andy mumbles- How’s that for song and dance?
Andy - Hello fans and haters. Good evening to everyone. How are you? WAIT!? Don’t answer that, I doesn’t care. Now some of you may be asking why the fuck would I be singing Journey randomly in a high school gymnasium. Well it’s because the other day I was thinking about how far I have come in this business. It’s has been quite a journey, also I love that song, but my entire career all started here in this gym. It was here were I won my first ever high school wrestling match. Four years, just winning wrestling matches in a high school gym here. It wasn’t until about a week before graduation, coach told me that there was a growing wrestling academy in New York. I saw opportunity and took advantage. I attended the academy, learned how to be more technical, learned how to get and keep fans,
The fans cheer again.
Andy- But most importantly how to win matches.
The fans show some excitement.
Andy- I was the only student to pass that academy; I tore that place up. Won every match, challenge, competition, tournament, you name it! I can remember it like it was yesterday, and now if I lose a match I'll come back the next week and kick more ass!
The fans cheer.
Andy- Or once I get my title..... if I lose it, I won’t cry about it. I'm just going to get that rematch, get the title back, and kick more ass!
The fans cheer.
Andy- I going to enjoy this victory, move on, and win the Rush Hour Championship! And for those of you who aren’t Andy Star fans and don’t believe that, I hope you like disappointment.
