“Misery Business” by Paramore hits the speakers, and out comes a cute redheaded girl down to the ring with a microphone in her hand. She steps up the ring steps and between the middle and bottom ropes into the ring. She holds the microphone to her lips as she begins to speak.
Caitlyn Porter: ”Good Evening ladies and gentlemen! Did you enjoy the show?”
The crowd pops big. Not getting a big enough pop in her eyes, she asks again.
Caitlyn Porter: ”Did you enjoy the show?
The crowd roars even LOUDER, and she smiles her approval. As they settle back down, she continues.
Caitlyn Porter: ”That’s great! For those of you who don’t know me, and as a re-introduction to those who do, my name is Caitlyn Porter, and I’m the assistant to your Monday Night Rush Hour GM, Matthew Jackson. I’ve been asked to make an announcement for you all this evening!”
The crowd pops.
Caitlyn Porter: ”Alright you guys, I’m going to keep things short and sweet. This evening’s matches were just the beginning. Next week live on Monday Night Rush Hour, there will be a triple threat match, and the winner will become a secondary champion, the title belt being his or her choice of either the Television Championship or the Intercontinental Championship. The competitors in that match were three of the men who competed this evening; it will be Andy Star versus Nick Offer versus Frank Benelli!”
The crowd cheers loudly.
Caitlyn Porter: ”And as another treat for you all, there will be a second triple threat match. The second of our pre-announced matches will be for the UWA Universal Championship!”
The crowd roars even louder, excited by the announcement.
Caitlyn Porter: ”The winners of our three ‘qualifying matches’ from earlier this evening will be the participants. First, give a big round of applause to Roy Speede!”
Hollywood Undead’s “Hear Me Now” hits the speakers, and Roy Speede comes out on stage and walks down to the ring. The crowd cheers loudly for him as he slides under the bottom rope, and extends a hand to Caitlyn. She shakes it.
Caitlyn Porter: ”Next, congratulations to Callous”
"Last Resort" by Papa Roach begins to play as Callous walks out on stage. He grins and walks down to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope.
Caitlyn Porter: ”Finally, let’s hear it for Hope Dudley!”
“Who Dat Gurl” by Flo Rida plays through the speakers as Hope Dudley steps out on stage smiling, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. She comes down to the ring, and steps up onto the ring apron. Caitlyn continues before she can step into the ring, but she steps between the middle and bottom ropes amidst Caitlyn’s speech.
Caitlyn Porter: “Now, you all are going to be competing next week for the UWA Universal Championship; until then, I want you all to keep peace amongst yourselves. Save it for the match. I wish you all the best of luck, and may the best wrestler win.”
Roy shakes Caitlyn’s hand once again before walking off to her right and dropping town to slide out of the ring. Callous shakes her hand as well, and steps out of the ring to her left. Hope shakes Caitlyn’s hand, and after they drop their hands, Caitlyn takes a step past Hope to Hope’s left. A grin rises to Hope’s face, and she spins around quickly, catching Caitlyn with the Hopebreaker. Hope gets to her feet and grabs Caitlyn’s microphone.
Hope Dudley: “Miss Porter, you are a disgrace to women in the wrestling business. You come out to this ring all perky and perfect to make an announcement. But you’ve never done anything in the ring that involves physical ability. You’re pathetic.”
Hope drops the microphone, and drops to her back, and rolls out of the ring, slowly walking up the ramp, smiling an evil smile. As she gets to the top of the ramp, she turns and faces the ring as she continues slowly backpedalling. Caitlyn is by this point conscious and has gotten to her knees. She picks up the microphone.
Caitlyn Porter: “Hope. Hope Dudley. You just made a huge mistake assaulting me. That mistake just cost you your spot in the Universal Championship match next week. Instead, next week you will be banned from the building, and the Universal Championship match will be Roy Speede vs Callous one on one. Have fun on your week off!”
Hope’s jaw dropped as she stands atop the stage, and she turns and stomps off to the back. Paramore’s “Misery Business” hits the speakers as the show goes off the air.
