The following is a
Hope Dudley
Roleplay
Hope Dudley is seen sitting in a red, cushioned armchair in front of a crackling, glowing fireplace in her home on the outskirts of Los Angeles. She is wearing a light pink dress with a bright blue belt around her waist, and has a blue wristband of sorts around her right wrist. Resting on her feet are a pair of black She has her legs crossed, right over left, and is sitting with a delicate, innocent smile on her face, staring directly into the open flames. The camera circles around behind her, behind the chair, and over to one side of the fireplace, still focusing on Hope.
Hope Dudley: Twenty-three years I’ve waited on this day. Twenty-three long, grueling years I’ve trained myself for the day that I would finally get the chance to wrestle; twenty-three years I’ve waited to get the chance to fight someone, and twenty-three years I’ve been preparing for the day to kick someone’s ass and prove to them that women are just as capable as men in physical competition. And the United Wrestling Alliance is giving me just that chance, and now I have my debut match all scheduled and everything. That’s a reason to celebrate. I think I’ll go out to the club, and live it up that I have a chance to prove myself.
Her smile turns to a more devilish grin as she uncrosses her legs and stands to her feet. She straightens her dress, turns off the gas logs of the fire, and turns in the barely-moonlit darkness toward the door. She steps outside, with the camera following her and she takes her spot in the driver seat of a silver BMW Z3 convertible, lowers the top, and the tires make a squeal as the car proceeds into the night. The scene fades to black as we see the camera moving in a hurried motion toward a news van.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The scene reopens to the outside of a club, one specifically marked ‘SCeNe’; there are no windows and a solid wooden door in a dark color, although it isn’t obvious what dark color it is due to the lighting. Hope Dudley is stepping out of her convertible, and as the cameraman gets out of his vehicle, Hope opens the door to the building, and as she does so, music starts to fill the night; the song ‘Party Rock Anthem’ by LMFAO is heard as she enters the club, with the camera following her.
As the door closes behind the camera, the music starts to seem louder, and the cameraman takes a seat at the bar as Hope continues out onto the dance floor. After several songs, she comes and takes a seat at the bar next to the camera.
Hope Dudley: God I love coming here! I never get a chance to let loose my wild side anywhere else- there’s no real reason to at home, and well, my former employers frowned on it when I played music at the office. But here is the perfect place to have fun and enjoy yourself, if all the guys aren’t ogling you that is; always seems to be my problem. And I’ll bet that’s gonna be my problem when I step into the ring with that Nick Offer kid- he’ll be too distracted by my body to actually compete... That isn’t going to wind up being my problem, though. It will be his problem; I’m not going to sit there and let him stare at me, but am going to slap him in the face and knock him out.
Nick better watch his back, because, believe me, I have a lot to offer in the wrestling ring, and anyone who ever tries to doubt me or my abilities. If he tries mess with me, I will not hesitate to kick his ass. If he thinks he is hoping to use me as an example of his abilities and jumpstart his career by beating me, I’m going to dash all Hope.
She gets back up off the barstool, and struts back out onto the dance floor, and the scene fades out to the tune of ‘Who Dat Gurl’ by Flo Rida.
