The scene opens on the beautiful city of Tokyo. The sun had set for the night, bringing the bright lights to life once again. Crowds of people still moved about the streets, heading home, or going out on the town to the various clubs that littered the city in the dark alley ways, or the seedier parts of the city. The younger generations that were into anime walked the streets in cosplay outfits without anyone saying a word, or taking notice. This was an everyday thing, and not out of the ordinary for most. Mascots for companies moved among the crowds trying to get people to come into the various shops that lined the streets as they moved along. We soon see a group of girls walking through the crowded streets, and it's Mia and her friends. Mia is dressed in a pair of tight pants, and a t-shirt with a rather large backpack. they stop in front of Tokyo Tower and Mia looks up at the red lights sparkling in the night. The lights burned brightly against the night, as Mia smiled to herself. This was the place. Tonight was the night, and no one or nothing was going to stop her. The tower was open to the public to go right to the top and look out over the city. The girls stop just in front of the doors, and look at Mia with worry.
Ayame: Are you sure about this?
Hitomi: This isn't a very good idea Mia. What if you get caught?
Makoto: We get caught too! Mia you know people can't get up where you want to go right?
Mia: I know, but with you guys keeping an eye out for guards and stuff I can make it.
Usagi: I'm too young to go to prison!
Makoto: We won't go to prison... They'll just call our parents, and be banned from the tower.
Mia: Besides if I get caught I'll take full blame.
Ayame: You know we can't do that. If you do this, then we're all in it together.
Mia nods, and puts her hand in, as does the four other girls. They were friends, and wouldn't let Mia do something like this alone. They head into the tower, and Mia looks around the lobby. A group was heading to the main observatory, where they were holding the Friday night Club 333.
Mia: This is to easy.
Makoto: Don't say that Mia. When you do, something bad always happens.
Hitomi: She's right Mia. Remember the spring festival when you said our team couldn't loose at the track and field events? You got taken out by 2-D's number one student.
Mia: They got lucky! Now come on, I have to back to the states before too long.
Usagi: Sorry you lost your match Thursday night. I thought you really had him.
Ayame: Yeah. He was just a really cheap ass.
Makoto: So who are you facing this week?
Mia: Sakura and I have a tag team match again, and it's against some new guys.
Hitomi: Just don't get to over confident. Maybe that's what happened to you last week...
Mia looks at Hitomi, and realizes she might be right. Mia had gone into the match over confident, but knew she had a fighting chance. Muru had managed to keep her grounded, and that was never good in her case. Mia loved to be in the air and take her opponents by surprise. They follow the group to the elevators that would take them to the main observatory, and wait for the doors to open.
Usagi: Hitomi be nice. I'm sure Mia already feels down about her loss this week.
Mia: It's ok. I'm fine, really.
Ayame: I know I wouldn't be. I mean this guy just joined and he beat you.
Makoto: I did some checking on your opponent from last night, and he's been in the business a lot longer than you have. He's got a few years on you.
Mia stares at the numbers as they came down from the main observatory. She was starting to doubt herself and her abilities, and if she was even going to be any help to Sakura this week coming. She had only lost one match and it wasn't the end of the world, but why did it feel like it was? They soon reach the main observatory where a DJ had set up in one section. Already a large crowd had gathered in the area, and moving their bodies to the loud music that blared over the speakers.
Ayame: This is the perfect time for you to get up to the next observatory. At least we'll have the perfect excuse for being here.
Hitomi: Ayame has a really good point.
Mia: You're right. No one would ever think you guys were in on this at least. I'll see you later. Have fun.
Mia walks out of the main observatory and heads back to the elevator, and presses the up button and leans against the wall to wait. The elevator soon arrives and Mia steps inside. The doors close behind her as the scene fades to black.
Act 2: Looking out over the city
The scene reopens on the Tokyo Tower on the Special Observatory, where we find Mia on the outside edge of the windows that went around the tower. She sat looking out over the city at the beautiful view below. The lights twinkled like stars around her as the moon glistened brightly against the midnight blue sky. The bag she had been carrying sits beside her on the ledge waiting to be opened.
Mia: You know how easy it would be to just to step off the ledge and fall to the earth? I could do it, but what's the point? Would anyone remember me as I was or would they remember me for my past accomplishments? Last night I didn't think I was going to lose my match but I did. I thought once I got ahead in the company I would keep going, but I was wrong. Maybe I'm not as good as I was once was.
Voice: Don't be silly Mia, you have always been good enough.
Mia turns around slowly looking at the windows hoping that no one knew she was there. That's when she saw it. Her reflection, but not her reflection. The girl in the window wore a black Alice type dress, with her dark hair pulled back with a black ribbon. Mia's eyes went wide, as she stared at the image in the window beside her.
Mia: You can't be here. I've been on my meds... You're all in my mind...
Image: I am always with you Mia. I've never been truly gone.
Mia: Why are you here?
Image: I'm here because you are having doubts. Father always said you were one of the best students he had, if you just studied a bit more. He wouldn't let you think like this, so why are you?
Mia sighs, and looks out over the city again. She really didn't have an answer.
Mia: I don't know. I lost my match last night, and...
Image: Mia you are better then this. You never let anything like this bother you before. You've always been one of those people that just let a loss slide off your back, and moved onto the next match and the next big thing.
Mia looks over at the image and smiles softly. She was right. Mia had never let anything like this bother her before, so why was she letting it now?
Mia: It's funny, but I'm not sure why it's getting to me like it is. So what if I lost a match? It's just the first one I've really lost. I'm part of the Tag Team Champions, and have won two out of three matches I've been in so far. Muru can have his win, I don't care.
Image: That's what you need to remember Mia. You have always been one of the best that the world has ever seen, and you can't let a loss get to you. Remember in Wonderland you will always be seen as someone that can't lose your majesty.
Mia looks at the image and sighs. That was a time that she would rather forget. She wasn't ready to face the darkness when she had joined with HIM, but still went ahead with the last part of the rites. She had entered into a world that wasn't her own, and remained there, until she could be freed. That was two years ago, and with medication the images, and voices had faded, until now.
Mia: Please don't call me that. I'm not part of that world any more Malice. I've come a long way since then. I know what I have to do, and I plan on winning my match this week no matter what it takes.
Malice: That's the old Mia talking. That's what I wanted to hear from you. Let nothing stand in your way this week, and you will have what you want. Make father proud.
Mia: I'm not doing it for him. I haven't seen HIM in almost two years, and if he's out there I know he's always watching me.
Malice: You're right Mia, he's always watching you, and so am I. Goodbye Mia.
Malice waves and seems to fade away, as Mia gets to her feet. She looks out over the city once again, with confidence.
Mia: This week Sakura and I are going to step into the ring against two guys that already are a team. I don't know how much experience either one of you have, but it really doesn't matter. Sakura and I have already proven ourselves, and that we can do this. I know that you and Ace are going to underestimate me and my sister, but let me tell you something. The two of us are like a well oiled mech. We work together, and make sure our opponents don't get the upper hand. Last week I lost but you know what it doesn't matter. I'm going to focus on this week and the match at hand. I'm not afraid to admit that I made a mistake, but this week I'm going to make sure that no mistakes are made. Victor I looked into your profile, and I have to say that I'm not surprised with your methods in dealing with your opponents. You like to show off in your matches, and that can always cost you, especially against someone like me. I might be a high flyer, but I watch and wait to take my chances, and when I hit the Otaku Assault I make sure everything is just right. I don't play to the fans, because I need to keep focused on what I am doing, and make sure you or anyone else doesn't get the upper hand on me. I've made that mistake a few times, and nearly killed myself when I had the chance to grab a title, I didn't take it, but flew off the ladder, and hit my opponent who was on the outside.
Mia looks down at the street below knowing if she didn't time everything just right, she wouldn't have to worry about her match on Thursday night.
Mia: I know most people think I'm crazy and shouldn't do the things I do, but I love the thrill of it all. Thursday night will be another win for my sister and I. I don't care what it takes, but you and Ace will go down. You're probably thinking that these two little Japanese School Girls can't handle themselves in the ring, but that's where you're wrong. Sakura hasn't lost a match yet, and I only lost one. Which I still say was a fluke on my part. I didn't keep my head in the game, and I paid for it didn't I? Not this time around. Just remember Victor, I'm a lot quicker than you are, and can hit you from the top at anytime. Just look up and I'll be there ready to take you out for the 1...2...3.
Mia starts strapping the backpack to her, and looks out over the edge once again. She takes a running leap and does a back flip off the edge and begins to fall.
Mia: *Voice Over* Ace you and I have something in common. Both of us are high flyers, and know how to keep our opponents guessing of where we are coming from. Thursday night it will be me and you impressing the crowds with high flying moves, but only one of us can make it out of the ring in one piece and with the win under us. Tell me do you think you can stop me? I've been in this business for two years, but trust me I know what to do, and how to take care of my opponents. I was trained by the best, and will never forget the lessons that I have learned over time. HE taught me how to make an opponent make mistakes, and trip over his own feet, and gain the upper hand all the while. I know you're probably thinking that you can take my sister and I down, but think again. We are good and better than most of the people in this fed. You just walked through the doors last week, and have no idea what to expect from us do you? So what if you study our previous matches? What do you hope to learn? Our weaknesses? Any flaws that we might have? Keep dreaming and looking. Together we are very dangerous, and like I told your partner... Just keep looking up, because that's where I'll be.
Mia pulls the cord on her right hand side, and a bright and colorful parachute opens up jerking her back into the sky. She starts to glide down slowly over the city, seeing the bright lights coming closer.
Mia: *Voice Over* Thursday night Sakura and I will not give up, but we will stand our ground against Victor and Ace, and prove to them we are a true threat. We have proven ourselves twice already and have showed the world why we are the best at what we do. Thursday night won't be any different then any other since we started in the UWA. We'll walk away with another win, and leave our opponents wondering what happened to get beaten by the Tokyo Angels.
Mia soon starts to see ground below her, as well as security guards from the Tokyo Tower. She knew she was caught, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. All she needed was a heavy wind gust to blow her away from the security but there wasn't a breath of air. This wasn't going to end well. She reaches the ground, as two security guards surround her. Mia sighs, as they take her back into the building, as the scene fades to black.
