The scene opens on the city of Tokyo. The night sky is filled with sparkling stars, and a full moon. The lights of the city were alive and bright, as people moved about. Tokyo was a city that never slept, and the streets always seemed to be full even late at night. The camera pans towards the quiet suburbs of the city, where we find the home of Mia and Sakura Lang. It's windows were darkened, except a strange glow from one TV that was still on. As the camera focused on the TV and the strange scene that appeared on it. It was from the game Amnesia: the Dark Descent that had been just released. It was considered one of the most scariest games out there, and Mia just had to see for herself. She sits in front of the TV with headphones on, with one of the Tag Titles sitting beside her on the floor. Mia jumps as strange looking monster appears out of nowhere, causing the screen to move around as the character on the screen tried to find a place to hide. She had been playing for hours, and the game just kept getting worse with each passing minute. Sakura walks into the room, and looks up at the clock, and it read 2:30. Mia had been playing since they had arrived home, non stop. Sakura was worried about her, but knew this was a typical thing for her sister. Sakura puts a hand on Mia's shoulder, as her face goes white. Mia jumps to her feet tossing the headphones to the floor. Her heart was racing, as she stared at Sakura.
Mia: AHHHHHH!!!! Don't do that Sakura...
Sakura: I'm sorry sis. I didn't mean to startle you.
Mia: It's ok Sakura. I've been playing this game for... What time is it?
Sakura: It's 2:30, and the storm has been ragging for hours. Haven't you heard it?
Mia: No... I've...
A bright flash of lightning lights up the living room, as a roll of thunder rips through the sky. Mia's eyes get wide, as her attention turned to the window. It was only raining when she first started, and now it was a full storm.
Mia: I heard that.
Sakura: Would you like me to stay with you sis?
Mia: Nah, I think I can handle a little...
A heavy thud was soon heard coming from the front door. Mia looked at Sakura, and Sakura looked back at Mia. It was probably nothing, but the storm, or maybe a tree branch that had fallen from one of the trees in the front yard. The wind had picked up, so anything was possible. Another thud a bit louder this time made them both jump, as they looked toward it.
Sakura: What was that?
Mia: I don't know, and I'm not going to check it out.
Mia and Sakura watch the door, in hopes that it was nothing, but once again a loud thud was heard.
Sakura: Maybe someone is in trouble sis.
Mia: I doubt it Sakura. There would be a voice behind the thudding then. There's no sound.
The door slowly slides open, as Mia and Sakura scream. There in the doorway stood a rather strange little man. Lightning flashed behind him, and made the girls scream, as the figure walked inside and closed the door behind.
Mia: IT'S AN ONI!!!!
Mia gets to her feet, and flicks on a light, and realizing that the figure that had entered their house was their grandfather. Her heartbeat slows down, as Sakura slowly gets to her feet, and walks over to the older man.
Sakura: It's not an Oni Mia, it's grandpa.
Mia: I can see that now. What are you doing here this late?
Grandpa: I stayed late at Karaoke bar, and didn't want to go all the way home. I knew that you lived in the area, so I stopped by.
Sakura: Grandpa why didn't you call us? We could have come and taken you home.
Grandpa: No, it's ok. I had a date with a hot girl. She was the one that brought me here.
Mia just sighs, and hangs her head knowing he had gone alone, and hit on every girl that was in the club that night.
Mia: Sakura why don't you help grandpa to my room, and let him rest?
Sakura: Are you sure Mia? You're not going to sleep?
Mia: No. After playing Amnesia and the storm, I can't.
Sakura: All right. Goodnight sis.
Mia: Good night Sakura... You to grandpa.
Sakura helps the old man down the hallway as Mia sits up on the couch, and sighs. She looks at the clock. 3:15. It was early and she couldn't sleep. She had spent all evening playing her game, she never really gave her match any thought. After the week she and Sakura put in, she needed a break. She looks over at the title sitting on the table and smiles softly. She gets to her feet, and looks out the window at the storm that ragged outside.
Mia: It seems strange that after just one week, my sister and I are Tag Team Champions. I've held titles a few times but I've had to work my way through the ranks and fight for my chance at the titles that I have had. Out of three teams we managed to walk away with the titles, and claimed our true first victory. This week I have a match against someone new. Muru I don't know anything about you, but I'm not really worried. I've been in this business since I was my sisters age, and walking away with win after win. I've lost a few of matches in my time, and even put my body on the line more than once. I am a risk taker, and I will do anything to gain a win. That's why you always need to look up.
Mia smiles to herself, and walks back over to the table, as a flash of lightning flashed through the sky, only to be followed by a crack of thunder. Mia turns back to the window and sighs. She didn't like thunder storms, but knew she was safe inside. She runs her hand over the golden title that was on the table, and smiles.
Mia: Muru you really have to ask yourself, are you ready to face someone like me? I mean do you have any experience in the ring at all? I have two years under me, and know what I'm doing. Winning the Tag Team titles last week just shows how good I really am. I know that the outcome is never certain in a match, so I'm not going to underestimate you, nor will I say I have this match won, because there might be a slim, and I mean a slim chance that I might not come out on top.
Mia sighs, and walks to the doors that lead out into a small Japanese rock garden, and sighs. The beautiful blossoms that had started to come out, had been blown to the ground in the heavy wind and rain that still fell.
Mia: I don't know what else to say Muru, because there is only a few ways to say that I'm going to kick your butt. Of course that's really not my style anyway. I know that sometimes things don't go my way, but Thursday night, after the last two weeks I've had, I'm not really worried. The other two tag teams that stood against my sister and I didn't make it, and my first opponent that I faced underestimated me, and made mistakes as soon as he stepped into the ring. I just hope you last a little bit longer than my other opponents. I would like to have a bit of a challenge at least. See you soon Muru.
Mia just smiles to herself, as the lightning flashes once again, lighting up the whole house, before the power goes out. All that is heard is a loud No, from Mia. She hadn't saved her game, and she would have to start all over again the next morning. Mia heads back to the living room, and falls down on the couch, and into a deep sleep as the scene fades to black.
