The scene opens to the sight of the red carpet stretching out across the ground, with hundreds of people crowding and hunching over a guardrail as a limousine rolls up to the edge of the carpet. A man in a black suit with fancy white gloves opens the door to the limo, and from the car steps Hope Dudley; only, there’s something different about her. The noticeable difference in her appearance, of course, is that rich blonde hair she has curled and cut just below the tops of her shoulders, as opposed to the normal incredibly dark, straight hair. Her overly revealing white dress has a design on it that features cartoon character Smurfette. Behind her stepping from the limo is her girlfriend, Maryia, wearing an equally fancy attire and looking as beautiful as ever, her hair its always bleach-blonde color.
As the two walk up that red carpet, they’re stopped by a scraggly looking old man who appears to have had more cosmetic surgeries in his lifetime than he has hairs on his head. He holds up a microphone to his lips, taps Hope on the shoulder, points to the camera, and begins.
”Jonas Riveras here reporting to you live from Hollywood, in Los Angeles, California, and I have here with me... Wait, just who are you again?”
”I’m Hope. Hope Dudley. I’m a-“
He cuts her off.
”Ahh yes, you’re the young lass from the wrestling company. So tell me, what brings you to the premiere of the new Smurfs movie?”
”Are you kidding me? I’m a huge fan of the Smurfs! I have been ever since I watched the cartoon as a little kid. I wouldn’t miss this debut for the world; it’s the second best debut ever, next to my own debut, of course. And well, Maryia, my loving girlfriend, has come along with me not only for the movie, but for the great experience that is my hometown of Los Angeles!”
”Yeah, Riveras. And don’t call her “young lass” either, what does she look like, a twelve-year-old?”
”Gosh, sorry! Anyway, Hope, what’re you here to promote at this premiere?”
”I’m not really promoting anything. I mean, if the United Wrestling Alliance is too pathetic to promote itself, why should I do it for them? Heck, if they’re that bad, I shouldn’t even be a part of the group. I’m Hope Dudley; I’m better than each and every one of their wrestlers... and yet I’m stuck fighting against people with animal nicknames. First I faced the self-proclaimed lobster man, Ebirah, and now I’m facing the guy who calls himself Black Dragon. I told Ebirah I’d boil him up and serve him with a side of butter if he didn’t stay out of my way, and he was too dumb to avoid me, so I did just as I said and served him on a hot bed of ring mat, with Roy Speede, my Universal Champion opponent, raising my hand in victory. Does Black Dragon doubt that I’ll honor my word just as I did last time now that I’m promising to slay his mythological butt and continue on my way to the top? Well that’s his mistake! I’m going to win this, and there isn’t a thing he can do about it!”
”Yeah, Riveras, you heard it straight from the source, Hope Dudley is going to beat Black Dragon and send him home crying to his mama with his mask dangling between his knees like the tail of a scared puppy dog, and then she’s going to go on to take the Universal Championship from Roy Speede.”
”Now shut up, and get out of our way. We want to see the movie.”
The two push past Riveras and into the building. The camera cuts to black as the door clicks shut behind them.
